Childcare Program Manager

We are seeking a Full Time dedicated and experienced Childcare Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead our brand new childcare center in maintaining the highest standards of care, safety, and education while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children.
  • Follow all rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices set forth by governing bodies:
    • Colorado Department of Early Childhood

    • Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE)

    • Aurora Fire Department

    • Nurse consultant requirements

    • City of Aurora licensing regulations

    • Colorado Shines Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS)
  • Ensure compliance with state and local health and safety guidelines.
  • Manage staff scheduling, development, and performance.
  • Maintain accurate records for children, staff, and the facility, including attendance, medical, and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure open communication and satisfaction.
  • Lead program planning and curriculum development in alignment with state standards and the center’s mission.
  • Conduct staff training to maintain a high standard of care and developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Act as a liaison with community organizations and regulatory agencies.
  • Marketing for infants, toddlers, and preschool program openings to ensure steady enrollment growth and promote the center within the community.

Qualifications:

  • Director certification required per Colorado state regulations.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a large childcare center or early childhood education setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of licensing, health, and safety regulations for childcare facilities.
